Hey there! I'm Carrington, born and raised in the vibrant city of Cleveland, Ohio. During my time in my hometown, I've been able to soak up its spirit and diversity, which has motivated my passion for becoming a journalist. 

Coming from Cleveland to the small town of Columbia, Missouri, has pushed me to find innovative ways to bring dynamic storytelling to a wider audience. I am committed to understanding our ever-changing world and amplifying the solutions around us that can bring a community together.

On campus, I'm highly involved in my community. I am part of executive boards in three different student organizations and my sorority, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated. As someone who also takes 18 credits semesterly and works a part-time job, I'm all about time management and putting all my energy into everything I do. I take great pride in staying engaged with my community and using my different organizations to incite change and amplify the voices around me.

At this point in my professional career, I am looking for a full-time Multimedia Journalist/Reporter position or a fellowship that would allow me to continue to develop. I would love to take the first step into my budding career and make an impact locally. Off-campus, you can find me listening to music, writing, or reading a really good book. I've had the chance to dive head-first into some great projects at network organizations like CNN and on the local news level like WEWS and KOMU 8 News.
